Protective equipment for City Riding?

OK so here is the question I'm looking for some Upper body quality protective gear riding my cycle in the city, I ride around town speeds that are less than reasonable I've somewhere to be, and I'm looking for some good quality top facilities authority to protect my entire torso and hands when I wiped out. I already have Fox some gloves that I love, but I look a set of Troy Lee for my body and I was wondering if anyone has had experience with Descender Protector kit. I realize this seems a bit extreme, but I was clipped today and took a spill and I would be over now, you can bounce off one car and several broken bones, so I want something to prevent more severe after only a spill. I got lucky this time, but I I do not want to push it.

See 661 of the Core Saver. This not expensive and will help protect your organs from bruising or rupturing. They are nice to wear, but not as bad as some other layers of protection. If you really want armor, then go for it, but I agrees that this is a little Overkill. Note that sidewalk, you can still break a lot bones and ostargva to fair value even with armor .... if you do not mind carrying it, But then good knee and elbow hardshell Pads will help protect joints. As things Rockgardn 661 and is quite comfortable, but if you want best then Dianese. I think most of the things Fox is expensive and not designed for others. A hardshell helmet is a good idea too. Skate cover or full face, your choice, but they will withstand large and multiple positive effects results much better than ordinary Helmets will. Giro Flak / Dress is quite popular and durable .... I have two. : O) riding "active" is a good practice ...... a mix of aggressiveness and defensive caution. You know when to scrub speed to avoid blind confrontation is a wonderful thing. Always be alert to anything .... attention! : O)
