if not why?
in south Carolina they dont even use anysort of helmet.
can you get one of those stell helmets or kevlar one DOT approved?

No. military helmets are not DOT approved for use as a motorcycle safety helmet. Only the manufacturer can get a helmet DOT certified for use as a motorcycle helmet, and a military helmet just won't meet the specs.
