Which Helmet is Best for a Beginner?
Hey i need a little help from those who have used or can help me a bit. I am looking at the following motorcycle helmets and i am in between on all of them. Scorpion EXO-400 solid, HJC CL-16 solid, or an ICON Domain 1 solid, let me know based on facts or experience not opinions thanks!
HJC has some good stuff. I have a full face HJC. Also my wife has one. Get a helmet that fits snug but not TOO tight. You shouldn't be able to move your head fron (turn) side to side easily. If it is too tight it will give you a headache. Use a good smelling shampoo regularly and wear a "do rag" to keep sweat from soaking into the helmet liner.
Always buy the best you can afford because unlike loud pipes, helmets DO save lives!
