In a previous article I drew the factors affecting the aging of the skin. In this article I would like to take a more popular topic braking and / or reversing skin aging. Of course, there is no such thing as a long-sought never found Fountain-of-youth but this does not prevent claims of modern snake doctors.
There is no lack of products available to treat the skin. Some of them are "clinically proven, and others who are of age proved by repeated use over a long period of time. Among the "research study," We have alpha-hydroxy and beta-hydroxy acids, probably the most famous of the bunch and both as "peel". Almost all of these products are acids, but not I am sure that is important. Several of these substances act as a bleach to "whiten the skin. Some act as fillers. Some such as retinol and vitamin C, E, K and increase the ability to create new bodies of skin and the production of collagen and elastin. All these works are safe, and most, except I do need to check the allergy info on any product to use, "clinically proven or not.
"Clinically proven" includes some really good stuff. Most everyone has heard of the enzyme CoQ10. Lack of this enzyme is the rate of aging So it makes sense to complement me as we age. Collagen is used by those who seek the elusive youth. Estrogen causes news of the week. DHEA is one I've heard, but have found no research that fascinates me. There are a lot of hype about green tea, but if it was good for the skin, I think all Orientals would have great skin from drinking so much. Aloe Vera is a plant whose flesh has incredible power to heal, especially for burns. Tamanu oil is the answer to the South Pacific, Aloe Vera and Melanesians invented quite skin. Mexico tree that produces a similar product, but will never try to spell. Coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer and smells as good as anything there. Try a little Melanesia and skin care, and dream of sandy beaches in exotic places.
I often wonder what the ancients Egyptians not to their death. Imagine a big leather thousand years after you're dead and buried. All natural substances for sure. Life had to look fabulously.
