Motorcycle / scooter helmet tips?
I just got a new scooter, 150cc, so it is classified as a motorcycle. I need a helmet, not again! Which is safer, full face helmet, or modular helmet? they are so similar Are? I mean, they cover the same amount, right? Consider that I will not horse is faster by 40 mph, and I will only be that management work (5 km) and school (4 miles). I live in a small town, and restriction speed is 35 mph. So any advice useful! Thanks!
A full face helmet is always will be safe simply because of its structure - are not rotated or escape in an accident. However, modular helmet will do well for you. You wont to travel with great speed and this is probably more convenient to be able pay to the person, in some cases. May would even consider a half helmet (as link below) if you want, but it will not protect face and jaw, if it is flat and skid of asphault. Shoei makes a good modular helmets and Shoei and Arai recovered full face, among others (HJC, Suomy, AGV, Shark, Vemar).
