Can I wear a gray suit jacket with black pants?
I just started a new job at a car rental company as a management trainee where I am expected to wear a suit jacket every day. I just bought a brown suit, a black suit, and a gray suit. The gray pants are a size too small, can I wear the gray jacket with black pants? The shoes I plan to wear are gray peep toes with a little black on them and i'm thinking of a black shirt underneath. Is mixing my suits unprofessional? I really appreciate any feedback!
I think you should try and exchange the too-tight pants for a size up, but if you can't, I think you can wear the gray jacket with black pants. But ONLY if you have confidence. Confidence is the key to pulling off any outfit. Act like you're the coolest guy ever for mixing and matching your suits, and you will BE the coolest guy ever for mixing and matching your suits.
